TestMax has two plans: Free and Pro. The Pro plan is billed in USD ($14.99/mo) worldwide through Creem, our merchant of record, which handles applicable local taxes automatically at checkout.

Free plan
The free tier gives you everything you need to start practicing on NQ and ES futures, EURUSD, and other Free-enabled instruments. Full trading dashboard with market replay, all order types, and basic analytics. No time limit, no credit card.
What’s included
- Trading dashboard — Full access to the historical replay interface with chart, order panel, and position tracking
- Market replay — Replay historical sessions for instruments your plan includes, across roughly the most recent 2 months of data
- All order types — Market, limit, stop, and stop-limit orders with optional stop-loss and take-profit brackets
- 89 drawing tools — Trendlines, Fibonacci, Gann, Andrew’s Pitchfork, Elliott Wave, channels — the complete set on Free, with Fixed Range Volume Profile and Anchored Volume Profile the two exceptions (they need Pro)
- Playback control — Speeds from 1x to 50x with play, pause, and step controls
- Full analytics suite — Every summary metric, equity curve, calendar heatmap, time-of-day analysis, trade journal, and CSV export (the candle chart inside a trade’s preview needs Pro; every number beside it is on Free)

- Unlimited manual replay session history — Manual replay sessions are kept without limit. Algo Playground runs follow the limits on the Run History page
Limitations
- Historical data limited to a rolling window of roughly the most recent 2 months per instrument (not the full multi-year archive)
- NQ and ES futures, EURUSD, and other Free-enabled instruments are available on Free. MNQ, MES, and GC futures currently require Pro. CL futures are not currently offered; LIGHTCMDUSD is a WTI CFD. Instrument availability is set per plan. The catalogue carries futures, forex, crypto, metals, energy, agriculture and index instruments; the instrument picker shows the current selection and marks anything outside your plan with an upgrade badge
- Single chart layout only
- SMA and EMA are included; MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands, VWAP and ATR require Pro
- Minute-and-up preset timeframes only (1m through 1d) — second-based bars (1s–30s), custom, weekly and monthly timeframes require Pro
- Volume Profile requires Pro, including Fixed Range Volume Profile and Anchored Volume Profile
- Economic calendar shows event names, times, and the countdown, but the released values stay locked — Pro required
- Algo Playground, Pine Script indicators and Challenge Mode require Pro

What you get on top of Free:
- Full historical archive — Replay all available dates for the instruments included in Pro; use the instrument picker to check the current catalogue
- All seven built-in indicators — SMA, EMA, MACD, RSI, Bollinger Bands, VWAP and ATR
- Multi-chart layouts — Up to 4 charts with independent timeframes and instruments
- Second-based timeframes — seconds intervals supported by the selected instrument; a chart cannot be finer than its stored data
- Custom timeframes — Type any timeframe you want (7m, 90m, 2h…) plus weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly bars; available values vary by instrument
- Volume Profile — Volume-by-price for the session, the visible range, any fixed range you drag, or an anchored range, each with its point of control and value area
- Auto Break Even — Once a trade is in profit by a trigger you set (ticks or R), the engine moves its stop to entry plus a small offset — the same rule NinjaTrader and Tradovate brackets offer
- Real-time speed — Switch the playback clock to market time: 1x plays each bar for its real duration (a 5-minute bar in five minutes) and faster speeds divide that
- Economic calendar in replay — CPI, payrolls, GDP and 12 more US releases on the chart, with each number revealed only once the playhead passes it
- Algo Playground — Write Python trading strategies, backtest against historical data
- Pine Script indicators & strategies — Write or paste TradingView-style Pine v5/v6 scripts (v4 and v3 are converted) and run them on the replay chart
- Challenge Mode — evaluation challenges with drawdown rules, daily loss limits, profit targets, multi-phase progression

Billing
The Pro plan is billed in USD ($14.99/mo) worldwide. Checkout runs on Creem, our merchant of record: Creem is the seller of record for the transaction and automatically calculates and remits any applicable VAT, GST, or sales tax, which is shown at checkout before you pay.

Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Pro can be canceled at any time. When you cancel, you retain Pro access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free plan. Your session history and analytics data are preserved — you just lose access to Pro-only features.
Do I get a refund if I cancel early?
Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for the remaining days in the billing period. See our refund policy for details.
What payment methods are accepted?
TestMax accepts major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Creem, our merchant of record. Debit and prepaid cards, PayPal and bank transfers are not supported. All plans are billed in USD.
Will my data be deleted if I downgrade?
No. Your trading sessions, analytics data, journal entries, Pine scripts and algo strategies are all preserved when you downgrade. You can still open and export your Pine scripts and saved strategies on the free plan — you just cannot run, edit or create new ones until you upgrade again. Everything is also included in Settings → Data & Privacy → Export My Data.
Is there an annual plan?
Not currently. Pro is billed monthly. Annual billing is on the roadmap but not live.
Is there a student or team discount?
Not at this time. Contact support for institutional or team access enquiries.
Can I manage my payment method?
Yes. Account Settings → Subscription lists every payment with a receipt, and Manage billing opens Creem’s portal to change the saved card.
