Referral Program

Earn free subscription days by referring friends to TestMax. Any paid subscriber can share an invite link, and every successful signup rewards both you and the new user.

How it works

  1. Go to App → Referrals and copy your invite link (/invite/YOUR-CODE)
  2. Share it with a friend
  3. When they sign up, they get 7 days of Pro free
  4. You get 7 bonus days added to your subscription — we pause your Razorpay billing by that amount

Bonus days stack. If you refer three people, your billing pauses for 21 days total.

Eligibility

  • You must have an active paid Pro subscription to earn referral rewards
  • Your code is unified with your account. You can customize it from the Referrals page (alphanumeric + hyphens, 3–20 chars)
  • The referred user gets a 7-day Pro trial regardless of which currency (USD or INR) you’re billed in
  • Invite codes must be applied within 48 hours of the new account’s creation — after that, the code no longer attaches to the account

Fraud prevention

To keep the program fair we apply a few guardrails:

  • You cannot use your own referral code
  • Maximum 3 successful referrals per IP address per 24 hours
  • Admin can set a per-user cap on max referrals and/or max bonus days
  • If a referred user cancels within 7 days, the bonus is revoked and your subscription pause is unwound

What happens when my trial ends?

If a referred user doesn’t upgrade to a paid plan during their 7-day trial, they’re downgraded to Free and receive an email reminder about upgrading. They keep their TestMax account.

What if I’m no longer a paid subscriber?

Bonus days you’ve already earned are banked in your account (bonusCreditDays). If your subscription lapses, those banked days give you free Pro access until they run out.

Customize your code

Replace the default code with something memorable — just like a username. Alphanumeric plus hyphens, 3–20 characters. You can change it anytime from the Referrals page.

Where do I see my stats?

View your referrals dashboard — total referred, converted, pending, revoked, and bonus days earned.
