Pro features guide
Use this guide alongside a replay session. Open Help in the dashboard’s top bar to replay Chart basics, Replay controls, Drawing tools, or Pro features. The basics tour appears on your first chart visit; the Pro tour follows when your account has Pro access. Close any tour with Escape or the close button. Playback pauses during a tour; press Play when you are ready to continue.
Tour progress follows your account across browsers. Closing a tour dismisses its automatic introduction, and you can replay it from Help whenever you need it. If tours are temporarily disabled, this guide remains available.
Before you start
Start or resume a session from the dashboard. Pro controls require an active Pro plan, and some features may be temporarily unavailable. The tour shows features that are enabled. Instrument access, historical coverage, and the smallest available candle interval depend on the instrument you select.
Seconds timeframes
Open Timeframe in the playback bar and select an available seconds interval. Hover over the current timeframe, or focus it with the keyboard, to expand the desktop choices.
- Use a smaller interval to inspect how a setup develops within a minute.
- Intervals finer than the instrument’s stored resolution are unavailable. Pro access does not create finer historical data.
- Changing the chart interval does not rewind the replay or undo previous trades.

Pine Script indicators
Choose Indicators in the chart’s left toolbar, then Open Pine Script editor · Pro to write or import a supported script and apply it to the chart. For standard indicators without a script, use the built-in Indicators menu.
Use the indicator’s settings to adjust its inputs. Start with one indicator and inspect its output before combining several. TestMax supports a subset of Pine Script; a script that uses unsupported functions may need changes.

Edit chart panes
Choose Edit charts in the left toolbar. Add or change context panes, select their instruments and timeframes, and choose Apply. You can also add context charts when creating a session.
The primary chart remains your trading chart. Context charts advance with the same replay clock, helping you compare timeframes or instruments without seeing future candles. Available instruments still follow your plan’s access. When multiple charts are open, use the layout switcher to arrange them.
Auto Break Even
In Order Panel, enable Auto Break Even, choose the trigger mode, and enter a trigger and an offset. If the panel is hidden, use Panel settings in the top bar to show it.
- A ticks trigger uses the trade’s favorable price movement.
- An R trigger uses a multiple of the trade’s original stop distance and needs a valid initial stop.
- The offset specifies ticks past entry for the new stop.
The rule fires once per trade when its trigger is reached. Only trades open at the start of a bar are checked; the moved stop becomes active from the following bar. Moving a stop to entry does not guarantee a zero-loss result after trading costs.

Economic calendar
On desktop, open Panel settings → Economic Calendar if the calendar is hidden. Review events around your replay clock, filter the list, and move or dock the panel to suit your workspace.
Actual values remain hidden until their release time in the replay. Use Show on chart in the calendar header to control event markers and alerts without closing the calendar.
